My Story
In August 2010, I was approached by a Scentsy Consultant to join her Scentsy team. Being the "anti-party" and "anti-sales" person that I was, I didn't give it much thought. But, one day I came home to a neat little package at my front door and immediately my Scentsy excitement began to rise! Within 2 hours of plugging in my Scentsy warmer, I was on the phone thanking the Consultant and asking her "how do I join!" And, the rest is sweet smelling history! I am a single Mother and I live in Apopka, Florida. I'm a 5th generation Floridian. I work a 40+ hour a week job as a commercial real estate paralegal and Scentsy is my 2nd job. I love my 2nd job! I have never been able to say that before! Actually, it doesn't feel like a job at all, more like a hobby that comes with a paycheck. If you want to be a part of a wonderful company, wonderful people and make $ at the same time, this is the hobby for you! I always knew that my Scentsy income could be enough to make my car payment each month, but now it is so much more than that! And, I love that my girls, both 8 and 10, can't wait to become Scentsy consultants themselves! It says a lot to me about the positive changes they've seen in me and our lives!!! :) In August 2011, after just one year of being with Scentsy, I became a Scentsy Director and I currently have (and constantly growing) men and women on my team! I have been so blessed by my Scentsy business and I highly recommend everyone to step out of their box and join my Scentsy team, something you will not regret!
June, 2012, I just recruited the 90th member to our Scentsy Group! My Scentsy biz has given me the opportunity to take off this Summer, to travel to Punta Cana on a Scentsy trip earned by my team and then take off the rest of the summer to enjoy time with my family and build my Scentsy business! Joining Scentsy less than two years ago was the best decision I made!
September, 2013, I promoted to Star Director, which is a huge accomplishment and something I am very proud of! I have an amazing group of men and woman working with me! Earlier this year, I went on two Scentsy trips, one to Cancun, Mexico and Honolulu, Hawaii! I have earned two additional trips for 2014, I am going back to Cancun, Mexico in January 2014 and to Atlantis, Bahamas in June 2014! This is an amazing ride and I would love to take you with me!
March, 2014, I am so thankful for my Scentsy business. I was laid off in October 2013 and I am still looking. My Scentsy business kept me and my family going through this challenging time. But, more importantly, it has kept me busy and focused, which is so important when you lose a job. If you have ever been through this or are going through this, you know the importance of a back up plan....things can change at a blink of an eye! Please call me if you want to create a back up plan!
June 2014, I went on my 5th Scentsy trip to Atlantis Bahamas this month! I can't believe the places my Scentsy business has taken me!
July 2017, I am coming up on my 7th year as a Scentsy consultant and my 6th year as a Director with the company. What a ride it has been! I have made many wonderful friends (both consultants and customers), traveled to several awesome places around the world and supplemented my income to afford my house after a divorce and provide my girls with many wonderful things that normally I would not have been able to afford. Scentsy has been challenging to me (in a good way) and helped me to grow as a mother and friend! I have truly been blessed!
March 2019, I am still here and I am coming up on my 9th year with Scentsy! The longest job I have ever had and why? Because it's my own business and I simply Iove Scentsy, along with working for myself! Being a realtor, it goes hand in hand! Selling houses and making them smell good is my business!
